Sailer GmbH was awarded the BSFZ seal by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in 2023.
The BSFZ seal of the Certification Body for Research Allowance (BSFZ) is an award given to companies in Germany that carry out qualified projects as part of their research and development (R&D). The seal confirms that the company fulfills the requirements for the research allowance in accordance with § 4 of the Research Allowance Act (FZulG). It serves as proof of eligibility to apply for tax incentives for research. With the BSFZ seal, companies can have their R&D activities officially certified and thus benefit from tax advantages that are specifically intended for innovation projects.
Sailer GmbH received the award from the Stifterverband for its commitment to research and development in the German economy in 2019 and 2020.
The Stifterverband is one of the largest private sponsors of science in Germany. In addition to its commitment to young academics, excellent universities and cutting-edge research, it is also the task of the Stifterverband to examine and evaluate the German research and innovation system. To this end, it conducts an annual research and development survey on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, as a result of which the “Innovative through Research” seal of approval is awarded.
We are grateful for the award and the associated appreciation of our development work.

In 2021, Sailer ensured that almost 13 tons of resources and almost 2 tons of greenhouse gases were saved by consistently recycling materials.
Also on board is the Interseroh Dienstleistungs GmbH, a provider of environmental services based in Cologne. The company operates as a dual system in Germany.
The company's aim is to recycle secondary raw materials as a guarantor for the Dual System Germany and to design industry solutions to ensure the return and recycling of transport packaging in the material cycle.
The background to the business model was the enactment of the Packaging Ordinance on June 12, 1991, which required manufacturers and distributors of packaging to take back, recycle and dispose of their products after use.
Sailer GmbH is always putting itself to the test.
This time, in collaboration with the Deutschen Institut für Qualitätsstandards und -prüfung e.V. DIOP for short, we had our employees, their satisfaction and employee performance evaluated.
As part of the study, they first conducted an anonymous survey of employees. Among other things, employees were asked about their overall satisfaction and their willingness to recommend Sailer GmbH as an employer. All of the company's employees had the opportunity to take part in the anonymous survey.
The area of employer benefits was also evaluated. These could be special fringe benefits in the area of remuneration, company cars or other offers and benefits for employees. This also includes offers in the area of further training, a fair wage level, sustainable company management and career opportunities for employees. The questionnaire collects objective data on relevant areas of HR policy and practice.
Once again, Sailer GmbH received a 5-star rating and therefore a VERY GOOD score.
