The "KPS" cold accumulator offers advantages in terms of energy, economy and ecology. As a stratified storage system, it ensures optimally stratified charging and discharging. The cooling of buildings or the provision of cold for certain cooling processes can cause high costs depending on the requirements. One cause can be load peaks, which always occur when generation and demand differ in time, amount or quantity.
In addition to the required capacity, the storage temperature, the duration of storage and the filling or withdrawal quantity are of decisive importance. Modern stratified storage tanks can compensate for these differences and thus avoid load peaks. Investment and operating costs are significantly reduced. The system operates efficiently. Cold accumulators are used in building cooling, for example, where ceiling cooling can be operated efficiently.
The Sailer cold accumulator "KPS" can permanently provide sufficient cold in the range of ~4 to 35°C here due to the Sailer stratified charging elements. The insulation is made with AF/Armaflex. This is an insulation material with a very low thermal conductivity. It ensures long-term energy efficiency, condensation is prevented and energy losses are permanently avoided.
Inside raw, outside two-component coating AR/Armaflex suitable for bonding. Max. Operating pressure 3 bar (XXL 2.5 bar). Max. Operating temperature 70 °C.
Tank connections: 6-10, 4 bend pipes, 3 sleeves, 1/2" for sensor/indicator thermometer, 1-2 sleeves 11/2" for el. screw-in heater. 1/2" sleeves for venting and draining. 11/2" DN 150.
Ready to connect Storage.
